Day 207 brought me back to the covered bridge in Edinburgh, NY...you know, the one I blogged about here, and here. Well anyway....I headed back up there to see what I could see, and I found a few beautiful bits and pieces!!
Day 205 was another long day at work for me. When I finally got home that evening, I grabbed up my camera and went out to shoot!! I got this shot, and as soon as I saw it on the computer, it made me think of my friend Solomon. A man who, whenever I complain about the bad weather cramping my shooting style, reminds me of what the great Robert Hunter once said;
"Every once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right..."
With that in mind, here is my photo of the day for day 205...
Today my husband's aunt Meltz and her little girl came down to hang for the day/night before heading back home tomorrow afternoon. We got the kids together to play, and EVERYONE had a blast...here are some of my favorite moments. ♥
First, my sweet Toes, showing off his (seriously) dirty face, and the oreo he was munching on.
Meltzer's sweet girl, Meggie, and my Amelia-mazing! ♥ (keep in mind that the only reason A's as tall as M is because she was standing on paint cans!)
Ok, so I HAVE to brag for a minute....my little Toes is a punk rocker. *sigh* I'm so proud. My life is now complete. Seriously though, he's super into punk rock music, and as you've all see, rocks the mohawk, well today it all came together in one perfect drumming package!!
Then, he dropped the drumsticks so he could pick them up with his toes....that didn't work, so he had to get right down there...
For day 202, my amazing (tolerant) husband took me out in the canoe so I could get some fun pictures, and try my hand at photographing Lily pads again! Here are my (fantastic) results!!
Day 201 was nothing but F-U-N!! I went up to one of my favorite places to shoot the fall leaves and sunsets to take advantage of the beautiful summer day and shoot the old, un-used kiddy roller coaster!
I have done it!! I have made it 200 days (more than that now!) into my project here, and I am honestly pretty shocked that I've stuck to it this long....if nothing else, the last 165 days should be cake, right?! Ahem....without further adu, my 3.6.5 pictures for day 200!
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!! Sunday meant another double this week, but I was lucky enough to buy some time and be able to look for some pictures in the clouds...
Friday brought me a LOOOOONGGGGG-ass day at work. I subbed in for a party, and pulled a double, and only had 15 minutes free between 11 am and 11 pm; the 15 minutes it took me to go to Johnstown and pick up my little cousin so that he could wash dishes at the restaurant that night. That said, these flowers made me smile.
For day 194 I took a little ride to visit my friend Mrs. Falcon. Her babies are getting bigger!! ♥ I actually got a peek at them this time, which, let me tell you, was a HUGE highlight of this amazing photo week. Here, for your viewing pleasure is 'The view from up here'
Mama Falcon.....
A quick glimpse of the babies....
Then a couple of other goodies I found right there on the side of Rt. 8!
Day 193 brought me company for dinner! My wonderful friend Shelby and her sweet, sweet baby came over for dinner. Therefore, I have sweet little bits of baby for you all!! ♥ ♥
Day 192 brought me a portrait shoot with my beautiful friend Heather. She asked me a few weeks ago if, once her ink was finished and healed, if I would be interested in a shoot to showcase the ink on her back. (If you want to see that session click here) This out-take does not highlight the ink on her back, but I ♥ LOVE ♥ the expression on her face, and her eyes in this shot.
Day 188 brings some flowers.....my daughter has a greener thumb than I do this year!! (This is the second flat of flowers she's grown, and because of her, my tomatoes are taking off, FINALLY!
Today is a big day!! A couple of weeks ago, I shot some eggs for my 365. (you can view them here) Well, those eggs have hatched! A few days ago, as a matter of fact. The first couple of days these little guys were so tiny, and had NO hair at all, and couldn't even lift their little heads! Now they're getting cute, and they lift their little heads up, as you'll see....
Then, there was some SERIOUS pool action; Amelia-mazing flying through the air!
Follow me as I document the special moments that make life worth living! I love photographing children in their natural environment and local scenery. I am willing and able to do Custom Christmas cards, Birth Announcements, and Invitations upon request.
I'm a photographer, a mother, a daughter, sister and friend. I love a bottle of good red wine and more genres of music than I could possibly name. I live on coffee, and the smiles I get from my kids. Photography is a passion.... something I could not get through the day without....on par with music, which is necessary for life.
My perfect match in nearly every way, Bobbo is truly my best friend. I love hanging out with him as much today as I did nearly ten years ago, and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing partner in crime, and a wonderful father for my humans. That's right, ladies, I have scored. Truly. He cooks, he works on cars, he baths, diapers, and rocks babies. He is truly a gem.
The Little Humans
Miss Amazing
My sweet, curious blue-eyed first born. From an early age, I was convinced that she was a super-hero, and to this day she has never ceased to amaze me, both with her thoughtful nature, and her ability to see the beauty and the good in everything. Amelia-mazing is an incredibly wonderful big sister, and loves and defends her brother with a vengeance, and I adore the bond that they have; they are truly best friends.

Toes
My handsome, determined, sweet second born son. From day one, tiny-toes was the exact opposite of his sister in every way. He has taught me that there is always more than one way to do things, (and he is determined to find every one, let me tell you!) and that you can watch a single episode of scooby-doo every day, for all the t.v. time you're allowed each day for 2 weeks without losing your mind......if it's a really good episode.
