I have done it!! I have made it 200 days (more than that now!) into my project here, and I am honestly pretty shocked that I've stuck to it this long....if nothing else, the last 165 days should be cake, right?! Ahem....without further adu, my 3.6.5 pictures for day 200!
Day 180 is another BIRTH-day!! This time for my little Toes! ♥ For his birthday, my little punk-rocker got some pretty badass drums!! Here are some highlights from his special day!
Today I decided to take another solo crack at Amish country. After last week, when I got stuck in the mud, I was a bit nervous, but I decided to prove that I wasn't scared, and off I went. The results were AMAZING! ♥ I truly live in such a beautiful place!
Wednesday was a beautiful day....well, not so much as far as the weather goes, but for pictures; yesterday was a beautiful, wonderful, fantastic, very-good day! I took a ride with my friend Matt, just trying to see what we could see. As you can see below, there were a great many interesting things to be seen!
There were horses...
...and flowers....
...then I was inspired!
By some dandelion fluff that reminded me of my amazing friend Sarah's painting...
Happy Easter, everyone! I hope everyone had as wonderful a day today as I did! ♥ We started out early this morning, when Toes climbed into our bed at about quarter till 7. From there, he proceeded to pat my face and tell me that the Easter Beagle had come and the baskets were on the table. He woke up Amelia....or at least, he tried. Needless to say she sent him back crying because she refused to move. Once I went in and explained that the Easter Beagle had come, it was time for the fun! After checking out their baskets and putting on their brand new princess and car's socks respectively, we hunted eggs. Finally, there were only 2 eggs left, and we couldn't find them....after checking the Easter Beagle's note, we headed out to the porch to find........................BUNNIES!!! Yes, you read that correctly, both little humans got an 8 week old baby bunny from the Easter Beagle. With that said, I will say one more time....Hoppy Easter, everyone!
Toes and his tiny baby bunny, Cherry.
Amelia hunting for eggs at her Great-Grandma's house this afternoon.
So yesterday, once again, I was kinda lazy. Well, really, I guess that's not entirely true. I was just lazy as far as updating my 365's goes....I did, however, post some more of my shoot with Amelia-mazing at the beach last weekend. Ahem. Anyway...here are my pictures from yesterday, day 88 in my year-long photographic journey (pretty long winded way to say my 365's, huh?)
My goofy husband showing off his newest project; the hutch for the baby bunnies our little humans are getting for Easter!
So once again, it's the weekend, and things are very, very hectic for me this weekend. Friday I had a chance to shoot a wide variety of subjects, but I did not get a chance to even get them on the computer last night! Thus, here I am playing catch-up as Sunday morning quickly approaches. Without further ado, here are my 365's for Friday; day 85!
Water dripping from a rock somewhere near the middle of a giant waterfall just outside of Mohawk, NY
After I'd gotten my fill of the waterfall, I drove back through Fonda, NY and stumbled across a farm where I captured the next few images.
This barn was falling down around this poor dump truck!
Once I finished there, it was off through Bleeker, to Nate's house to capture his pup Bongo.
Yesterday, I can't even make excuses like 'oh, I was so busy...etc. etc. etc.' because I really wasn't. What I was, was....burned out. I got my pictures up on my facebook page, and just completely forgot about getting them up here. Hopefully I can remedy this whole 'late' thing that I've had going on lately tonight by getting my pics up in a timely fashion. Still....that remains to be seen. Right now, though, I have yesterday's pictures to share...a variety of animals from my friend Nate's house!
This first shot is of my friend Nate's chickens, munching on some rotting apples under the apple tree down the bank.
This next shot is another feathered friend...the last of his flock of ducks from last spring....we call him Disco. Yes, that's right, Disco Duck.
This pretty little kitty was hard to capture, but so beautiful!
Ok, so as is becoming the usual for me on the weekends, I'm playing catch-up. This post is for yesterday's pictures, and today's will follow in it's own post. So yesterday I was cruisin' around with my camera, and happened across these cows outside enjoying the beautiful afternoon. (I know, I know, I have a thing for cows. That has already been established. Moving on...) Anyway, I could not resist these cows or these captures, I hope you love them also! ♥
Follow me as I document the special moments that make life worth living! I love photographing children in their natural environment and local scenery. I am willing and able to do Custom Christmas cards, Birth Announcements, and Invitations upon request.
I'm a photographer, a mother, a daughter, sister and friend. I love a bottle of good red wine and more genres of music than I could possibly name. I live on coffee, and the smiles I get from my kids. Photography is a passion.... something I could not get through the day without....on par with music, which is necessary for life.
My perfect match in nearly every way, Bobbo is truly my best friend. I love hanging out with him as much today as I did nearly ten years ago, and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing partner in crime, and a wonderful father for my humans. That's right, ladies, I have scored. Truly. He cooks, he works on cars, he baths, diapers, and rocks babies. He is truly a gem.
The Little Humans
Miss Amazing
My sweet, curious blue-eyed first born. From an early age, I was convinced that she was a super-hero, and to this day she has never ceased to amaze me, both with her thoughtful nature, and her ability to see the beauty and the good in everything. Amelia-mazing is an incredibly wonderful big sister, and loves and defends her brother with a vengeance, and I adore the bond that they have; they are truly best friends.

Toes
My handsome, determined, sweet second born son. From day one, tiny-toes was the exact opposite of his sister in every way. He has taught me that there is always more than one way to do things, (and he is determined to find every one, let me tell you!) and that you can watch a single episode of scooby-doo every day, for all the t.v. time you're allowed each day for 2 weeks without losing your mind......if it's a really good episode.
