Project 365....day 183

"O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!

America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Project 365....day 182

For day 182, I got to do another portrait shoot with a great friend of mine...he's such a good sport and always up for anything I can come up with! Thanks again, SO MUCH, Matt!! That, however, will be it's own special post! For now, here are a few non-portrait out takes from our afternoon!

A new favorite of mine; up close and personal with a teeny-tiny lady bug!

Project 365....day 181

This random capture was grabbed at home late Thursday afternoon. The husband blew a flat, successfully taking the hour or so I'd set aside to take pictures in, and this was what I was left with.....a piece of broken glass we found in the yard.

Project 365....day 180

Day 180 is another BIRTH-day!! This time for my little Toes! ♥ For his birthday, my little punk-rocker got some pretty badass drums!! Here are some highlights from his special day!

First, my pretty puppy!

Next, my sweet girl...

Finally, The main attraction!

Project 365....day 179

Day 179 brought us into our summer birthday season! First the husband, then the next day, little Toes! These few days, I used my camera more like a 'mom' than a 'photographer', but I'm hoping you'll enjoy my pics anyway!

Project 365....day 178

Day 178 brought a ride to Utica to drop off a disk of photos for my favorite artist to my favorite director...on the ride home, I found some beautiful things, like this nature preserve!

Project 365....day 177

"And the stately lilies stand Fair in the silvery light, Like saintly vestals, pale in prayer; Their pure breath sanctifies the air, As its fragrance fills the night."
